Sweet or sour? Both - and everything in between: we grow over 12 organic apple varieties. Enough to put a smile on everyone’s face. And a smile on yours very soon! From Granny Smith to Bonita, find your favourite among the old and new apple varieties.

There are more than 30,000 apple varieties in the world - each one tastes special, looks different, has a different storage capacity, also shelf-life, and loves a certain climate. That's why universities and nurseries all over the world are looking for new apple varieties.

What we organic farmers find exciting are tasty, durable and scab-resistant apple varieties that fit into the South Tyrolean climate. We selected Natyra®and Bonita according to these characteristics. We don't follow trends, instead we cultivate our heritage: in our meadows old apple varieties still take root. Our ancestors already knew them well in the 19th century: Granny Smith and Golden Delicious for example.

Gala

Gala is one of the classic apple varieties grown in South Tyrol and delights with its sweetness. It is the first apple to be harvested and therefore marks the start of the new harvest season.

Golden Delicious

Golden Delicious is particularly known for its versatility in the kitchen and its long shelf life. Kissed by the sun, some of these apples develop a characteristic red cheek.

Granny Smith

The green classic, Granny Smith, is characterized by its refreshingly acidic taste, which sets it apart from other apple varieties. Its tart flavor and crunchy texture make it a versatile and storable fruit.

Braeburn

There are many uses for Braeburn, from eating it raw to baking. Due to its high vitamin C content, its flesh oxidises very slowly after cutting.

Fuji

Fuji is the most widely grown apple variety in the world, which speaks for itself. It also stays fresh for a long time and stands out for its sweetness.

Topaz

Topaz is the first important scab-resistant variety in the German-speaking area. Those who love sour apples will love Topaz: it has a slight acidity.

Pinova

Pinova is distinguished by its excellent storability and durability. Thanks to its robust skin and high sugar content, it stores well without losing flavor or quality.

Red Delicious

Both its elongated shape with five bumps and its striking dark red color make Red Delicious a real eye-catcher. Its crisp texture and versatility in the kitchen contribute to its enduring popularity.

GoldRush®

The golden-yellow color, with its typical 'freckles' gives GoldRush® its name. In addition to its balanced sweetness and acidity, it impresses with its delicate aroma, which develops during storage.

Natyra®

The robust Natyra® impresses not only with its natural scab resistance but also with a subtle blend of fruit and citrus aromas that make its taste unique.

Story® Inored

Story® Inored is crisp and juicy, convincing with its intense sweetness and excellent storability. It thrives in South Tyrol’s mild climate, where it develops its intense red color best.

Bonita

Thanks to its scab resistance, Bonita is particularly well-suited for organic cultivation. Its long ripening period enhances fruit quality and develops an intense aroma.
